We make babywearing wraps and clothing. We believe that the loving arms of a parent are the best place for a baby. True home for the little one that has just been born. We also believe that loving touch and shared experiences are the best ways to establish loving and lasting relationships. Their support is our goal.
The name of the company refers to the long tradition of babywearing in our region. Our great-grandmothers used to wear their babies in big pieces of cloth that were used for carrying wood, grass - and babies. Thus children were with their parents from an earsly age and could learn about their world from very young age. With humility we follow this tradition.
Loktu She as a company was founded by women who got acquainted through babywearing. Each one of us brought something special to the company - and though not everyone had stayed until today, they are all remembered with love and gratefullness. Since its foundation in 2016, the company has grown and many things have changed. We have our own sewing workshop, a wide range of babywearing wraps in different design, material and construction, different types of babywearing clothing and many accessories. We also have great colleagues, dear partners, helpful suppliers and few more children who have been born since..
Our philosophy is still the same:
We produce beautiful and functional products at a fair price. It is important for us that what we do is based on what we believe in. We draw the patterns of our wraps by ourselves, and with the help of a textile artist, we take them to their final form. We design our clothing and create our own cuts. We believe in what we do.
We choose high quality materials. We want them to last. We make sure they do not harm health. As for the wool we make sure that it´s mulesing free.
We don't make things travel unnecessarily back and forth. If it is possible (and it is almost always possible), we choose Czech and European suppliers. The production itself takes place in the Czech Republic: in weaving mills with a long tradition of production, in family-run knitting factories and of course in our own sewing workshop in Liberec.
Our products must work. During the development we use our own experience with babywearing, we cooperate with babywearing consultants and with experienced babywearing parents. We thoroughly test anything new: only after all the objections have been sorted out, the new product can go to the customers!

We support parents in babywearing, both personally and on social networks. We know how contradictory can be the informations regarding childcare. It´s difficult to navigate through it. Fortunately we have two thinkgs we can rely on: our baby and its needs and our own parenting instincts. However, support from outside can be welcome, too. That´s why we organize every year a festival called The Joy of Parenting - Radost z rodičovství - in our home town Liberec, write articles, give lectures. At live events we teach parents how to tie the wrap and show them how to make babywearing more comfortable.
We love to learn. We are interested in the latest knowledge related to babywearing, in-arms carrying and caring for children. We read scientific studies, attend lectures and courses. We look for new materials and production technologies, too.
Happy team We meet individual needs of our employees, they participate in the decision-making process of the company, work in dignified conditions for a fair pay. We care for good relationships. Inspiration and support is essential to us.
We are the mothers of small children who care about contact, love and respect. We are not nearly perfect. Yes, sometimes we are also tired and annoyed. No, we don't have exactly tidy homes. And yes, combining family care with business can be quite challenging! It would not be possible without the support of our wonderful partners and our families. We are constantly learning how to combine it all together in a better way. Sometimes it's challenging, sometimes it's adventurous and often it's fun.
